    Hi All,

Here is an Andrea Miniatures 200mm Bust, painted in oils, one of my rare forays outside of 54mm. Damned thing weighed a ton and had to be supported by a solid brass rod. Anyway, here's looking at you...

    Hello Victor!

The face and mail looks really good.
The feathers in the plyme looks a bit glossy, could be flash?
And I personally wouldnt mind more shadows and contrast in the white tunica.

    Cheers

    Hi All,

thanks for yr comments. The feathers are still a little shiny, being in oils. As this was done some time ago, I prefer to let the oils lose their sheen over time. The other surfaces have already achieved that. I remember forgetting to drain out the linseed oil before applying the red to the feathers.

There's not much to see of the back, being most the cape and the back of the helmet. But I'll try to take pics all round for my future projects.

    Rgds Victor
