I've started my next project, "Roman Cavalry Officer 180BC" released from Young Miniatures on July this year.

Primed with Vallejo black primer, undercoated with Andrea Blue Color set #6 for shade base + Vallejo German Orange for highlight base.

Started by drawing eyes. On this stage I draw a black line just like drawing illustration or cartoon to visualize figure's caracter clearly.

Then render the basic painting of the face.

This is still the second stage of painting face, I will paint more from now on.
Any comments are welcome, as usual.

outstanding start. Your style jumps out so much that I knew you were the painter without seeing your name. Looking forward to more.

Thank you very much Mike this is the most encouraging comment I've got. That's what I want to achieve. but I think I'm still a developing painter, I have a lot to learn to establish my style.

Thanks Ronald, Yes you are right not so many have done this bust yet, I'm the one who want to see this bust finished more. :) I really understand your growing list, same here too! :)

Thanks a lot for checking my work always, Carl!

Dear Kaz, I am very pleased to see the inclination towards color red can achieve such a wonderful result. My own gave for flesh is more to the pink side and I have yet to find that sweet spot you are enjoying. Congrats!
