    Hi Everyone,

Now that I have access to a digital camera....

This is my second bust. I always have problems with skin tones and it gets even harder on a larger scale ( I prefer 54 mm).The armour was a pain as well, but I am happy with the result !!! It is painted in acrylics.

    All comments are welcome.

    Thanks,

    Anthony

Very nicely done Anthony and the weathering / patina on the armour to represent wear and service looks just right. The Optios and Centurions (like all SNCOs throughout history) made their men keep their kit as clean and serviceable as possible when time and operations permitted. Gary

Do not be too critical of your skills. This is very good

As Ken said: you should be not too hard to yourself.
You did a tremendous good job. The larger the figure, the tougher its get.
With every figure you paint, you go a giant leap forward.

    Hey Ken & Marc,

Thank for the encouragement. Practise makes perfect...and I have a big enough grey army to keep on practicing!!!!

    Thanks,

    Anthony
