Roman Aquilifer- the shield

    Just painted the shield, the shield is in the oven to dry.
    Once completely dry, I will deepen shadows and accentuate highlights.

    Roc. :)

    Next will added more highlights and shadows to shield and paint the sandels.

    I totally agree with Guy,Roc;GREAT JOB on the shield,my friend (y) (y) !! I especially like the weathered lower edge of the shield;it seems to be a signature of sorts for you,Roc.Cheers !

    Great job as usual but I have to ask one dumb question. Was the shield design created freehand by you or was it their when you opened the box?

    The design on the shield was created freehand, that's the fun part.
