Roman Aquilifer- the shield

    Just painted the shield, the shield is in the oven to dry.
    Once completely dry, I will deepen shadows and accentuate highlights.

    Next will added more highlights and shadows to shield and paint the sandels.

    I totally agree with Guy,Roc;GREAT JOB on the shield,my friend (y) (y) !! I especially like the weathered lower edge of the shield;it seems to be a signature of sorts for you,Roc.Cheers !
