Roman Aquilifer 54mm Soldiers

    I will work on the face a little bit more, this must be the central point and I want it to be perfect. I will go for the boxart paintin and I hope to finish this to the end of the year. I really enjoy to paint this figure and recommend it to everyone

    Yes, I paint with artistic oils on syntetic basecoat (revell, humbrol)

    I was trying for three evenings to get more character to the face, and now I am finaly satisfied:rolleyes:. I think it is better than on the first pictures,hm?

    Very nice face, this is one of the best sculpted 54mm faces that I have seen for a long time, the raw metal looks good before painting, you painted version is very nice

    I never get a face so full with character then you did on this one.
    Excellent work. And up to this time painting.....what i call a coolminers face.
    I like it, but i never get it right.
