Roman 75mm primus pilus (ready 26-11)

    Finaly I finished the figure. Incl. shield and helmet. The idea for the shield I got from Gino Poppe. I did have some explanation from a magazine on this.

    Hope you like the total. Now it's time for a nameplate and ready the show.

    Excellent work, Rob. The figure is expertly painted--I remember seeing this a few weeks back and looking forward to when you finished the shield and groundwork. It was worth the wait!

    Tell me, what did you use for leaves on the bushes on the right near the helmet?

    Hi Kyle, It's a garden plant. Alchemilla Mollis. Let the flowers, shown in summer, dry. After this and put them in the scenery I painted every flower seperately with diluted acryl paint. On this occassion yellow.
