    Costas,
great work, and the base is always stunning when you have made it.
Since you painted a great heraldic a couple off figures before i had hoped that you painted the heraldic off Roland to.
Well, maybe the next time. And yes 75 is a wonderfull size for figure's, but the price is not so wonderfull.

Marc hi and thanks for compliments. The figure was already multicolored and the overlapping surfaces were enough to make a nice picture , so despite the fact that i planned and started to paint some decorative patterns, i turned back as it seemed to me a little bit too much overloaded. But as you say , next time in another figure...theyre so many anyway !!!!

    Costas,

Brilliant work, friend! I especially love the intricate grain work on the shield, and the tones of blue you have chosen. Also, the face is very well-painted and looks very intense and battle-alert. Nicely done.

By the way, I was trying to do some research on this historical figure, but could find very little. Can you direct me to a site? It is very interesting to me, the little I know of Roland.

    Thanks,

    Kyle
