A rather hurried conversion of a verlinden 120mm CMP L/CPl to make him resemble an RMP L/Cpl from 1974 (it's to be a christmas pressie...).

This conversion is based on a number of pictures of members of 243 RMP on their annual camp in 1974 - this figure is for my father who was there...and end up commanding the Company in the early 80's.

Nice idea to give this as a present to your father. I think your conversion is pretty well done. I would've raised his right shoulder a slight bit more, but overall it looks OK, well done.

    Cheers,

    Cheers for the feedback adrian...

will have a look at fiddling with the shoulder... need to resculpt his gaiters to be puttees... but want to get the "combats" and arm joints etc correct...

now to find someone who makes a stirling in 120mm...

Are your eyes okay after that DPM? Looks well worth all the effort you obviously put into it.

    Hi Roger,

Strangely enough i really enjoy painting DPM and kilts... though having a jacket close by was a handy.

    Thanks for the feedback.

    Looking good James.
You could have bedded the feet in to the groundwork, but that's only a minor detail.;)
Good job on the DPM, and I like the addition of the tac sign.

    Hi Carl,

Many thanks for the comments - He's supposed to be standing on a tarmac road...is my only excuse...

    cheers,
