You've seen it in Fine Scale Modeler, Great Scale Modeling 2005 and Scale Auto magazines, on Internet Modeler and Modeling Madness - the Rocky Mountain Model Club's annual contest.



"The upcoming show is the 11th contest hosted by the RMMC and we are already planning big!

May 13-14th, 2005 have been selected as the contest dates. As we attract many regular attendees from Alberta, BC, Saskatchewan and even the north-western USA, our membership feels that the time has come to increase the scope of the show. We have decided to upgrade our contest to a 'Regional Style Event.'

Accordingly the RMMC will be hosting a "Western Canadian Regional Contest". Canadian Manufacturers and Industry players are being sourced for a Trade Show. Invitations have gone out to many of North America's top model builders and hobbyists. It is our hope that by kicking off such an event, modellers will have a greater venue to learn, share and expand interest within this satisfying hobby. We trust that with your support, this will be a successful first time event within Western Canada."

We at the RMMC look forward to seeing many of our friends return from across Canada and the United States. Friday-night drinks proceed Saturday's contest and the socializing continues afterwards during dinner at a local restaurant.
