    Thanks guys.

    Some more in progress pictures.
Added the magazine pouches and water bottles. Some work on the vest and trousers.
Added the left arm. Blocked it in with MS to detail it later. The right arm also needs some further work.

He's coming along very nicely, I would suggest possibly a little more bulk on the body armour but I am not familiar with the type used as they are all slightly different from nation to nation.

Cracking work RJ, he's really looking the part now, also Armed with one of the best weapons used in the west, the FN FAL on which was based the British SLR.

Well, if I dont work quickly enough or it is taking to long to finish a figure I lose motivation or get too critical. So I am pretty disciplined when I work on a project. And I like the feeling of being in a flow when painting or sculpting.

First paint is on after two 2 hour sessions last evening.

Fair point on the motivation issue, nothing worse than losing interest part way through. He's looking good with the paint so far, I believe the Dutch camouflage pattern was very similar to the British at that time and that is a good representation of it.

Thanks Adrian, hope to see work from you soon.

Well, the regular land forces used a DPM style camo . The Dutch marines used British DPM first , later US Woodland pattern uniforms. Both were used by the marines and lots of color variations are seen.

Oh wow that is great and I see what you mean about the variations in the DPM, only those freshly out of training ever seemed to have fully matching sets as the colours varied from batch to batch.

Excellent work on the sculpt and the painting that you have done so far. I really like the job you are doing with the camo pattern and the differences in the colors between the trousers and the body armor signifying not only a difference in wear, but also the materials. Very inspiring.
