    Hi all.
    Here is my latest work.
    A Rifleman 5th Battalion Philadelphia Associators 1775.
I took inspiration for this figure from an image of the book "An Illustrated Encyclopedia of Uniforms from 1775-83 - The American Revolution War".
The figure is produced by Bestsoldiers. The swivel gun is realized by Fabio Mero.
The base is made by Il Basetta.
The painting was obtained by the base with acrylic paint and finished with oils.
I hope you enjoy it. Thanks in advance for your appreciated suggestions . I will try to achieve in the next piece.
    Ciao by Maco

The beautiful subject (75mm-scale1/24) Rifleman 5th Battalion Philadelphia ASSOCIATORS 1775 was painted by his friend Mauro in a very realistic since it has been able to use the right colors contemporary, creating an atmosphere so characteristic of the period. In fact, looking at the subject seems to go into places and time of the historical period of American Independence. The combination then the acrylic color with that oil has produced a result appealing to the eye of the Rifleman. The precision and meticulous attention to detail has given a high optical depth. The skilled hand of Mauro could also be expressed in the pictorial realization of the Swivel gun where you can see the realistic paint chips of iron, the color of the barrel, and the various paintings and accessories perfectly positioned. Even the wooden base so "bitten" and suitably chosen by Mauro for the representation has crowned a subject extremely interesting and definitely worth collecting, exhibiting and competing in international contest.
