Here is a start point of my work on a very intersting bust issued by "Legion Miniatures" that was inspired by "The Chronicles of Riddick".
I'm going to paint the bust in the OSL style so as to make it look more impressive.
The bust painted by Kirill Vladimirovich Kanaev will be a sample of color basis.
At the moment, I have prepared the bust for painting and took a couple of photos showing the effect of fire lighting to make it clear how the bust will look like in OSL.
The painting process will be described step by step here and on the Planet Figure forum.

    Thank you for your comments!
I will try to make it as beautiful as you expect :)

I've used an airbrush to put the basic colors depicting extreme points of light and shadow.
The work with brushes comes next.

WIP for the bust of Riddick
After setting the color basis, I've started painting the bust in more details. I'm planning to place the glasses on the forehead so as to focus on the eyes. The eyes will be eventually covered with a fluorescent varnish to shine in the dark.
