This is one of the bust from the range of Scientificmodels, representing Amelia Mary Earhart, disappeared in the pacific when trying to go around the world in 1937. However, this bust also remembers other heroines of the sky, including Elyse De La Roche, Geraldine "Jerrie" Mock, Rosina Ferraio and many others, this bust by Scientificmodels is a tribute to all those brave women.

All the pieces are very well protected with bubble plastic and paper, and the box has a beautiful illustration, that reminds the movie posters of the 1930 decade.

The bust is perfectly casted in resin, scale 1/10, about 15 cm. It´s composed by three pieces, the head, torso and the parachute lever.

The advantage of the 3D virtual designed models is the cleanliness of the textures, here, specially the leather, fur and coat.

The glasses, are empty, so it´s necessary to cut to size, acetate, or transparent plastic to simulate the glass.

I only found a minor assembly problem in the point of the back of the head, where it closes with the fur of the coat, you will need filler it with putty.

Generally it is a high quality bust, and it will be a pleasure to paint it.
