I think this is finally finished. Many thanks to everyone that commented on the way. I think the base needs a good clean, and maybe a coat of varnish.
    Carl.

Well done Carl, that's probably one of the most thought provoking scenes I've ever seen in miniature.

Nice work Carl. I see that you didnt take my advice about keeping it all grey shades. Now I have seen it I think you have done the right thing. It does look really good with a splash of colour. You have got to enter this in next years Euro.(y)

Carl, a brilliant finish. I was lucky enough to of just seen this and the painting of the figures is amazing , a very effective use of several colours to achieve what is basically a black and white picture. (y)(y)

I think you have just gone up an artistic notch with this one mate, one of the best works I have seen this year, the decision to go with the red coat was spot on and the dull red is just what it needed.

    All the best

Agreed with the others comments so far. A very striking scene indeed. Well conceived and executed.

I honestly think you pegged this one Carl, that red coat really sets the hook in it. Very well done. Truely a museum piece that impresses on the viewer a perspective of one of the darkest times in human history. Gives one pause, doesn't it? May we never forget and repeat such a time as this.

A very thought provoking piece. Extremely well done. It would not surprise me if a museum did indeed contact you for its inclusion for a display.

    Hi Carl

It is a very moving scene.
You've made the perfidious and inhuman Nazi to show impressive.

Turned out really well carl I know you had a lot of deliberation regards placement of
the figures you got it just right ,superb idea on the color scheme ,thoughtful and depressing as it is meant to be.

Tidy up around the edges of the base ,just a fine point!

Could be a scene straight from Schindlers List mate. The red coat on the little girl is a lovely artistic touch to offset the greys. As others have said, this piece represents a step up the ladder for you Carl. Great work.
