Poignant Expression of fear, doubt & concern on the young 25th Inf Div soldier's face has really been captured well here by Angel & Samuel.

Very well done, but the M16 just doesn't look right.
I think the handguard looks a touch too thick.

Very dramatic, excellent sculpting, and painting. Agree with Mike's comments, the face really tells the story of the scene. Regards, SG:)(y)(y)

Seen the movie enough times to recognize this scene immediately... platoon & johnny depp.

Nice idea but too cartoony for my liking.

Nice sculpting and nice composition but I am having trouble reconciling the soldier's battle fatigued 1,000 yard stare with the child's demeanour and the playful pose. They don't seem to go together - at least for me. Perhaps there is a back story I am missing?

I really like this, the M-16 is too big and needs replacing and a different paint job would change the complete look to this little vignette. Great humanly feel to it

    Hi
That's a very nice looking figure. The expression on the faces is perfect.
    Well Done.

I agree...M-16 is too long. Can't say as I agree with the criticism of the happy kid vs the 1000 yd stare. Those moments of paradox were, in my experience, common in that insane environment.

Lovely figure but the M16 looks too big as has been mentioned. I do want one though.
