All one needs nowadays is a simple midi-keyboard (no internal sounds needed) and a laptop.
I recently discovered the "VST" and every instrument you need is at your disposal!

Back in the old days all one needed was a six pack, a couple of shots and a bunch of hot air to play air drums "and" guitar....

I have no idea what VST is and the only redundant keyboard I have is a Korg O1w FD , mind you it does have after touch something that is lacking on my Roland RD 800 but then again it is aimed primarily at piano players with a splendid weighted keyboard better than a lot of mid ranged uprights .

Well that's perfectly clear , I can handle Midi but VST looks a bridge to far for this rocker
