Ciao a tutti,

Recently I've bought this gem from Maurizio Bruno, to celebrate is 200th scupture.

He took inspiration from Monge's drawing (see below)

The figure is something completely different from anything I've done in my life, has nothing to do with uniforms and research, just pure fun!

I've made a little change, to the sculpture, adding the hairs in front of her right eye.

Anyway is a pure joy to paint and to try something new I've used the airbrush for the red hood, I like it, I may use it in the future!!!

At the moment the hood is 90% done, I just need to paint the little patch on the left hand side.

Face is still fresh so I may do some touch up once is dry.
more pics on my blog

Ciao

Re: Red Cappuccello

I like it even better now, tehe painting looks great! I like your added hair a lot too, I just saw on your other thread that it looked like she had an eye-patch. The golden curls much better(y)

You should do more of this kind of stuff, it's really cool!

Re: Red Cappuccello

Ciao a tutti,

The lovely Red is finally done, as well as the groundwork (still fresh) and the wooden trolley.

Just the wolf has to be painted, but you can see some subtle colour variation given with the airbrush.

I've made the blood drops with something quite unusual, tiny pieces of my fibre glass pen.

Then used the paint and some white glue to make the final drop like part.

I'm using so many new medium and techniques on this tiny gem, I love it, is a shame is almost finished!!!!

Let me know what you think and you can find more pics on my blog as usual.

Ciao

Finally I've managed to finish this lovely piece.

As my first "fantasy" figure has been a joy to paint.

I hope you will enjoy the final result, I surely did enjoy painting it!

As usual more and bigger pics on my blog!
