    The figure of a Soviet soldier in Berlin April 1945. Scale 1/35
    Painting: acrylic and enamel.

    The gap between the arms will be filled.
    Base homemade.

    Thanks for posting Nick, I like your what you have done to this model, both painting and posing. I remember being part of the Berlin Garrison back in the very early 1970's and seeing in the remains of graffitti in the Reichstag ruins by Russian soldiers, saying that they had made it to Berlin, but so many brothers, friends and comrades had not. I was very moved by this.

    Very nice and simple setting. Love the tile painting. I assue that's blood so it forces one to start coming up with their own story of how it got there and where specifically the soldier is.
