    Good afternoon!

Now that the ice has been broken thanks to "Hachiya", I would like to remind the readership that comments are under full moderation. Unfortunately, it is an "all-or-none" setting, with no option to "grant voice" as in our previous homes.

All this means is that your posting might not appear for 24 hrs., depending on the circumstances. Please know that they will be read in the order that they are submitted, so you can write as many as you'd like and they will appear in the proper chronological order.

Before closing, I do not know if you, the commentator, will automatically receive an email notification once your comment receives a response. This might be a personal setting. In any event, if you are wondering if you've received a response, you might want to check the Comments link at the end of each posting to see if the count has increased.

And with that. . . keep 'em coming!

    THANX!

    Augie

PS - 24.08.2012 -- Some of you may not be aware that responding to posts is an option. While you are not able to initiate a discussion thread, you are most certainly able to comment on any posting made--and are encouraged to do so!

Simply click on the "[No] Comments" link that appears at the footer of each posting. That will take you to a blank text box where you can create your comment (IF there were previous comments, you may scroll up the page to see them). You can then either Publish (if you are done) or Preview your comment by clicking on the appropriate button. Please make sure you click "Publish" when you are done.

Also please note that you can respond to a given comment: Simply click on "Reply" at the footer of the comment you wish to respond to, and you will initiate a "sub-thread".

Finally, please note that there is no way to edit a Comment once published. The only means to make any change is to delete the comment and re-post.
