rat de bibliotheque 003 (Medium).jpg rat de bibliotheque 004 (Medium).jpg rat de bibliotheque 005 (Medium).jpg rat de bibliotheque 006 (Medium).jpg I finished this little bust from Nemrod. It's my first fantasie figure, and the first time I saw it, I knew I should paint one.
It's my first try to a kind of Tartan pattern. The only thing that is missing into the kit ( I think) is the chain for the glasses on his right side.
Let me here what you guys think of my paintwork on this bust.
    As always painted with oils.

    Hi Megroot.
The tartan is extremely well done. I also like the shading of the book.

    Marc,
Really nice little fellow. Different. It should be easy to add a small chain like those used in the Model ship or tank world. Cheap jewelry also works.
    Cheers

Nice like John said a chain should be easy enough to attach to it

Thanks for all the great comments.
I will add a chain when I'm settled in my new home.

First thing at daylight is sealing painting, wallpapering, new floors all around.
Saturday 9 march moving the furnuture and then I have 4 days for the old house (rent) to empty the front and back garden, break down the shack, and lay new tiles in front and back garden.
Removing the floors in the old one, remove the bathroom furneture and place a new washingtable.
    Alot to do.

That's nice Marc, a bit of relaxed painting from precision of doing a Pegaso 90mm lancer :)
Face looks a joy to paint, well done on the tartan too.
