Hello everyone,
I'm in the process of painting a large scale figure of a U.S. Navy SEAL.
If anyone has seen the front cover of this month's issue of the History Channel magazine on the US Navy Seals there is a soldier that is coming out of the water and he has on what looks like a black wetsuit Maybe with all of his gear on as well.
So my question to you guys if you do see this photo, I would like to know how do you paint black?
I know you don't just paint the color black to get shadows and highlights so I need a very patient step by step way of painting black.
I've already primed it in Black to get the preshading done so hopefully that will take the stress off a little bit. Any suggestions would be of great help in trying to paint this figure.
The figure itself is approximately 10 1/2 in tall, if that will give you some idea of what I'm up against when painting this figure.
Thank you
