Ok let the jokes begin LOL but is there a way to tell all these different scales converted to American inches for instance a 1/12 scale bust would be how many inches tall ? Thanks rob

There is no set height for a 1/12 bust (or any bust for that matter).
It depends very much on the height of the figure the bust represents.
I posted a table of scale heights for a number of actual heights:-

The scale heights are given in both mm. and inches.
You then need to determine the cut-off point for your bust in real size and it's actual size relative to the actual height.
A simple fraction will give you the height of the model bust.
Alternatively, you can simply use the scale height of the figure to define the bust size (for example: a 1/9 scale bust is often quoted as 200mm).

You realise that an inch is the same in every country. No such thing as an American inch.

Effectively if you know the size of the head you can scale that up. 1 inch on the head = 12 inches (or 1 foot).

Many bust sculptors aren't exactly to scale anyway so I wouldn't stress about it.

Well, and don't forget the Texas inch, which is even bigger, 'cause everything is bigger in Texas ;)

Here in PA, we have the Pennsylvania Dutch inch, which starts out as an inch, but gets bigger every time you tell the story.

    Prost!
