Question about painting Fimo figures

    Hi Guys!
What shall I do to paint figures, that were made of Fimo? Sometimes I have used brush, wet with oil to smoothen the details, so I think at least I have to wash it, with soapy water. Am I right? Will surfacer adhere to the washed clay surface? Or do I have to make a resin copy from the figure?:(
    Please help me!
    Thanks in advance!

Yep, that would be safest. This would be after hardening of course.

    Should adhere fine.
