    Hi folks,

Some progress pics of my latest effort, a Sikh infantryman, Punjab Irregular Force, 1879, on patrol in the mountains.

The head is from another of my figures, but will be heavily modified to change the turban. The legs are Miliput over an armature, with puttees from Tamiya masking tape. A huge thanks to Steve Readdie for supplying the Enfield rifle, which will be modified to a Snider, with the addition of a breech mechanism.

Loads of work still to do, including embroidery on the poshteen coat, fur trimming, shoes, fringe on the turban, hands resculpted, addition of belts and pouches, etc. Scale 120mm (1/16), Im hoping that this may be commercial, if there is enough interest.

    Thanks for looking

    Steve(y)

Cheers Roger - still some tweaking to do, but happy, so far! I'm planning on making the section of rock into the base for it, so it ties it all together. Got to do some work on the hands, yet, too!(y)

Great figure choice Steve. I like the pose, nice and dynamic. His right wrist looks a little uncomfortable. It could be because the fingers aren't sculpted yet.

Thanks Rob - yes, needs some adjustment on that one. Ive just glued it together to get the pose right, for now. The hand and wrist will be cast to the rifle in due course - Im also going to modify the left hand to spread the fingers to give the impression of gripping the rock. Onwards and upwards!(y)
