    Thanks Steve, no I didn't bother with a background in the end. I did a few sketches but wasn't happy with any of them so binned it and went for the lazy option..... PVA, sand and static grass. :D

    Hi All,
    I saw this tonight in the flesh at our club meet and I can honestly say Roger your camera work is *ra*. You get an open invite to our camera club - me & Helm:ROFLMAO:. This is an absolute gem and a brilliant piece of painting by Roger and the photo's do not do the justice it deserves. The figures are sublime and the horses are just the monkey's nuts.
    Well done mate a little cracker (y)(y)(y)(y)(y) and what a pity you canot make the Sword & Lance with this:(.
