    Hello,
here is my current project, prussian flag carrier 6th grenadier reg..
It is 54mm flat, my own edition.

The oil paints which I have use:
Flag: Base color existing of Vermillion red light + Paris blue + Titanium white, you get a bluish grey. First lights with light ochre yellow pale, then Titanium white. Now I let it dry the first painting one day. Now are sixth layer painted over the flag with tranparent white.

Trousers and waistcoat: Base color existing of Chrom yellow deep + Cobalt violet + Ultramarin blue, you get a brown color. First light with Chrom yellow depp, secound light chrom yellow middle.

Cap front metall: Base color burnt Umbra over , first light with yellow ochre, secound light with neaples yellow deep.

    Cheers

    Hello Conny,

This is becoming very nice. I like the radiant colour of the trousers and the vest.

Konrad, Very nice. The contrast you're able to achieve really works well and adds lot of demension to your flats.~Gary

The flag have get nearly 17 layers with transparent white. The blue in the middle on the falg consist of: Basecolor: Parisblue + Chromoxid green deep + a little bit white. First lights with Chromoxid green deep + a little bit white. Hightlights with royal blue deep.

Around the shield in the middle you can see the dry basecolor for the gold.

Cap front metall: Base color burnt Umbra over , first light with yellow ochre, secound light with neaples yellow deep.
