A nice little flat project just to keep my hand in.
A 54mm figure from Fredericus Rex. Obviously work in progress, oils and acrylics. :)

Oh. A flat figure from Roger? You changed your mind? Great to see you paint flats. And the horse looks beautiful

    Hi Roger,

your work looks great as ever. I'm particularly happy to see a cuirassier albeit of a different period.

    Cheers

Thanks Ulrich. The problem is I'm interested in too much stuff, flats, rounds, different historical periods, figures, aircraft and AFV's. :D

Thanks Mick. I've also got a set of eight FPW French Chasseurs a Cheval in front of me but that project seems to have stalled as the Cuirssiers has taken priority.

looks good. you "must" get rid of the hard edge between the light and shade on the face.

Thanks Marc and yes, I agree. I've been messing about with the face for about four days trying to get it right so I have decided to leave it for a day or two and go back to it. There's a danger of completely messing it up if I concentrate on it too much now.

Very nice work, I like a lot your flats. Also the subject you choose is very unusual. Great!
