    This figure is a little bit special for me...
    I grew up in Mons, exactly where the 4th Middlesex was the 23 august 1914.

    I worked on it only one week.

    Thanks Mr Parker-Mead, to give me emotions.

    @ eas6644 : Winsor & Newton oils.

    For khaki, Yellow ochre and raw umber (green shade).
    lights with base + Naples yellow light and titanium white
    shadows with raw umber (green shade).
