I love Carls work but this one is particuliarly attractive to me. Great feel and character to it.

Really spectacular. Is there some kind of competition between Reid and Corry? Every new piece by these guys just gets better. Whatever's going on, keep 'em coming.

Yet another cracker from Carl. One of the things with his work is every piece has a completely different face and identity, and thats quite remarkable given the number of works he creates.

Interesting with this one that he's shown as wearing the pre-Bardin Regulation jacket and he's using the long version of firearm as opposed to the usual cavalry carbine. Certainly one thing I've learnt about the 1815 campaign is never say never with regard to the uniforms & equipment of the French.

Excellent, should be a good one to paint.

Mr Reid is surely at the height of his powers. His recent stuff has all been top notch, but this even excels all those.

I like this as it looks to be a beautifully cast, plain simple painters figure. The experienced Masters will really go to town on this one, and yet even us less able,should because of its quality be able to turn out a reasonable result. He looks like that old actor, Richard Widmark.
