    Hi to all.........

Just to let you know I'm still alive :D and also thought of posting something at last, since Sept '08.........seems Sept '09 is already round the corner

Anyway, this Andrea's 90mm Julius Ceaser is now Pontius Pilatus A.D.33 and its a rather "cheap commision" for that Good Friday fanatic workmate of mine, so what you see, apart a paintjob after 8months, (as I spent too much time in the construction workshop after Euro '08.....still not finished, but will paint some before I continue ;)) is 75% effort on the face and 50% on the rest of the fig........and it was painted over 4days, as the price is not worth anymore time and effort.......but it did serve to start sharpening my brushes for this year's Euro :)
For the Roman Historians over here.........I painted what I was told to paint  so be a bit kind with me before you start firing re anything which is not historically correct :)

    Warmest Regards to all.........

    Ray ;)

Good work Ray. And as you say, paint as it was told to paint.
That must be very difficult. But nevertheless it looks awesome
Hope to talk to you at Euro.

    Ray,
very commanding/ imperial look to him.

Even if he was clad in a scruffy plain tunic, he would still look imperial, by how you painted the face.

    Is this a converted figure?

Still, like what you have done with him,
and the pint at which you say - well, I have done this figure to amount specified, made me smile.

    I reckon he's getting a bargain, really.:D;)

    good finish overall

    Cheers

Thanks for looking Jamie and you're also way too kind.........

There is no conversion, its a magnificently sculpted kit by Andrea and the face paints itself really..........

Seems the pint to which I painted this guy is getting on and making me smile every time its mentioned :D and I agree with the bargain he's getting  but as I said in the opening thread, I had to sharpen my brushes before moving on to what I'll take to Euro, because they have been blunt since Sept '08 and the Gonfanonier, so that's quite a long time

    Cheers :)
