    Any info on sculptor?

    Nice composition. Works for me.

Refreshing change not to see the usual square jaws in the face sculpt.

"Hobby horse" busts aren't my thing so it's not one that I'd buy. But it's a nice sculpt and a good subject.

Busts can be strange looking, you gotta allow your mind to fill in the missing bits, sometimes they work for you, other times they will always be weird, (floating hand with an axe) it's down to personal taste, this one will paint up beautifully and I feel that the eye will be taken away from the missing bits, I commend the sculptor on creating this piece, I mean how do you decide where to make the cuts keeping in mind how it can be broken down for casting etc. Looking forward to seeing boxart or the first offerings from our happy band of painters.

I’m no expert but I typed in Polish winged hussar helmet. Practically almost all the images showed the nasal piece with the visor covering (protecting) the face. Only one image of a similar Young bust showed this upended nasal piece. Presumably the nasal piece could be slotted either way for parade or battle.

I agree with Steve. A great sculpt but no addition to my wish list.
