polish 4th Infantry Regiment , 1830/31

    This is something new I'm sculpting. Acctually this project was started earlier than the Stormtrooper but I had to collect right reference materials (for this officer's uniform and gear) so that's why the stormtrooper came out as the first one.
    This is going to be something based on a painting by Wojciech Kossak entitled "Battle for Olszynka Grochowska". This Painting shows the 4th polish Infantry Reg. fighting against russian forces during the polish "november uprsing" in 1830/31. This particular battle took place near Warsaw on 25 of february 1831. The battle was the heaviest of all during the whole uprising, and was a stalemate. Polish forces had 40.000 man and lost about 7300 and russians had 60.000 man and lost about 9500.

    Thanks for Your comments guys. This week I'm going to have some tests and an exam at my university so propably I won't sclup to much :( But I will post progress photos as soon as possible.
