    As you saw in the Poilu's Kit 1914 post, the French Army began changing the uniform colors of its soldiers within a couple of months of the beginning of the war. The urgency and need for the changes was obvious and they proceeded swiftly. Most of the changed 1915 uniforms were of an interim nature until clothing manufacturers could transition to horizon blue.
