    hello
i have the tendency to start always many projects beneath each other.i will never learn i fear to finish one and start the next.
here i have an MICHAELMINIATURES French Imperial guard 1854.the sculpting of uniform is great.,i was trying to make the bust an little bit more dominant in face because the orginal look very young.
i wanted an more mature look.so i enlarged the chin an added an chin beard then i changed the youthfull nose to an real conk.sideburns where added as some ridges to the face.simply to add some dimensions to the face in regards to the big busby over it.
i did not cut anything.i used only magic sculpt.if i ould have failed i would just have removed it.
i dare not to add the orginal picture of the box art, because i have no rights on them.i did not make an pic of the orginal face before i started simply because i never thought i would end with an result usable.but i think i could use it this way.i will know when paint is added.in worst case i can remove it again.
it was interesting to alter some features and to see how the young face turned in an more older sessioned look.
    cheers

    Hello Markus

From what I can tell, you've done a good job. And not an easy job, for sure.

Of course, some cameras don't do to well, with really close up photographs.
And in this case the focus isn't sharp so it is more difficult to tell. But, I
applaud your efforts. A difficult task, that I have never tried.

    Good luck,

    The Miami Jayhawk

A nice change, it's good to see modelers venturing out and modding the original pieces for make them unique (y)

Nice work Markus and its always good to put your own mark onto a model in the way of conversion or slight alteration.
