Sometimes one has to do other things, something out of the comfort zone, doing different things.

Being a big fan of the Pirate Captain Redbeard, the fear of the seven seas comics in my youth (Roodbaard, de schrik van de zeven zeeën), I wanted to do this bust a very long time and finally realised it. It's my free interpretation of what Redbeard would look like in real life. Really enjoyed this one!!

(After seeing the pics, yes, a couple of touch ups, and then painting time! (If I get into the mood )

Decided to do an little bit more on this bust...
Looking through my comics is saw that Redbeard has a cormoran pet bird. So... Why not give this a try!
Here's the result so far, WIP of course, but getting there slowly...

Also added a pic of the pistol, off course scratch built... ;-)
