Pike Helmets in Central and South America

    If you look at these old pictures, you might think they were made in Berlin before WW1 or at the Imperial maneuver in the Romintner Heide ...:

    But it's Chile!

    And in contrast to Germany (where this is the most utterly frowned upon), these clothes and helmets are still worn today on certain occasions in Chile ...:
