Pieper bust finished

Here's my latest...a 200mm resin bust of Pieper, by Verlinden. I painted him entirely in Vallejo acrylics.

I think the swastika in the centre of the iron cross needs to be painted silver.

You aren't kidding! I had to learn how to paint all over again, after close to 30 yrs in oils! I think I'm finally staring to get the hang of it though, been using them for 5-6 yrs now, and I'm finally getting the blending that I want!

I worked the flesh tones for a few days trying to get a nice smoothe blend and balance, and I'm really happy with how it turned out!
