Inspired by the famous Ejzenstejn movie "Aleksandr Nevskij" a teutonic knight falled in the iced lake.
A quick painted vignette from spare parts from previous projects. The white cross shield as well as the iron hat is from danish infantry supporting teutonic knights. 54mm. Hope you like it.

Great setting! What did you use for the clear wet snow?

Nice idea for a vignette Franceso
(One small suggestion is to replace the bridle chain with something a bit more delicate - There are a few suppliers of very fine chain for modelling or possibly a jewellery chain might work? If you are struggling to find some drop me a pm because I may have a small piece left from my 'Tucumcai' vignette that will do for this)

Love the overall feel of this one (y)

    Hi Francesco

Nice to see your modelling , good subject and the ice looks effective

Agree with Daddy O ref the chain , looks a bit over scale ...I have some various chains if needed vsure Paul has more idea in this scale

    Thanks for sharing

Why not enter a piece in FOTM for Novmber and vote in October's comp

    Happy benchtime

Thanks to everybody people, happy you have appreciated the work. I'll substitute the chain with a smaller one, I should have it . (y)
The clear ice are made by clear silicone used for home sealing, modelled by a little spatula.

    Ciao carissimo! ottimo lavoro!!
mi lascia qualche dubbio l'asta della bandiera, però, mi sembra un pò tropo spessa e la mancanza del puntale.. mah.. io lo metterei.
