WIP Pegaso's Richard the Lionheart

    Well this is what i ve been working on lately.
    Always wanted to paint a horse with acrylics, altough i know oils whould give a more natural finish. STill i feel i have better control over the final result with acrylicsAnyways after several fruitless attempts i got to this point where i m satisfied. Still trying to get the hair look somehow better (not sure how though).
    Feel free to fire your critique, as i m quite positive there will be on this one!

    Absolutely outstanding work Dimitrios!!
    The brown colour is so right. Your highlighting and shading suggests a slight sheen that I find very pleasing and convincing.
    It's hard to criticise anything in this; but since you ask about the manes, maybe I could make the suggestion to use a subtle old-fashioned black/brown (oil?) wash at the manes to give some shade and suggest separate strands. Just a thought.
    I will definitely follow this!
