Ernesto this face is really simply spectacular......sculpted so by Laruccia ;)

    Thanks Guy.......

Anthony, the helmet is done in Gold printers ink + Burnt Umber (oils).......after the base coat is dry, I apply Burnt Umber (oils) to the recesses and feather them out.......when its dry, I highlight with a pale Gold printers ink and enhance the recesses again with Burnt Umber (oils) without feathering this time......

Thanks Markus, I'll do my best to keep you posted soon.......

Hi Dave, the fit is quite good, but needs quite some forethought on how to assemble, and you need to reinforce with pins as its quite heavy especially the cloak, which I will show soon.....actually the lighting set up caught the gold on the helmet to some extremes, that's why it is showing a bit over exposed.....

Hi Conny how are you my friend? Thanks to your professional tuition that I improved my flesh tones, and for everyone here, Konrad is one of the top flat figure painters in the world and one of the most humble as well where he is always so patient to show and teach marvellous techniques........thanks again and its coming from tiny Malta

Hi Marc, maybe it will not be as frequent as the Mamluk's, but it will be here for sure......

    Xenofon and Jose, thanks guys.........

Regards to all of you and forgive me all for not having looked into your respective posts lately.......

    Hello Ray

Well my friend, you have done a terrific job on this one so far. Larruchia's sculpting is so good isn't it?

I will be watching your progress with interest. Meanwhile give my best regards to all at the club. We are planning to get over there again next year - maybe for your show in March. Depends on work.

    Keep smiling!
