Well vbench is on fire this couple of days. I like alot your painting and your choice of colors. I suggest a couple of black washes on the central silver decoration just to spice it up a bit. Best regards.

    Very nice Damian!

I like the flesh in particular!

Just one minor comment: The bare metal scratches on the armour seem to lack a bit of depth. Maybe a very thin wash with some dark blue or burnt umber oil paint to tone them down a bit will do the job??

Never mind the comment: a job very well done!

    Cheers,
    Adrian

Great work on this marvelous bust.
I suggest you redo the shade under the cheeks. The left shade is darker then the right shade.

I am all about flesh tone and I say your flesh tone is brilliant!

But three things, and indeed easily dealt with:
    1. Scratch on the metal. We all go thru the process of figuring out how to really express that and wish you luck on getting there. It is one of the most interesting learning curves I have climbed.

    2. The pupils can be refined further. In fact much further.

    3. The base colour of the armour itself could do with some variation to hint on the lighting conditions surrounding the character.

So really just minor points. Well done!

As a sculptor, it is good to see painters enjoy to paint my work.

    Good job, Damian.

It looks really like Diego's work.

Nice work! The fleshtones especially. (y) The armor looks just a bit flat, but that might be the photo. :)
