I have said I'm going to do something next that is out of MY comfort zone, I realise this is normal fare for most of you being a mere 75mm figure. I've been modelling and figure painting since before my teens and can still count on one hand the number of times I've painted anything above 65mm.

I recently bought this through the market place from Babelfish, cheers Steve.

I have had him waiting, sprayed with car primer waiting for some Vallejo Air White to prime him using my airbrush, but still the paint hasn't turned up. So he is brush primed as I can't wait any longer to get to grips with him.

Without further ado let's see how I can manage to cock this one up!

Cheers Simon

Great subject to pick, that Pegaso figure has a wonderful head and face, loads of character to bring out.

Cheers Rob, I've been working on the head today, still got some way to go but it certainly has character.

Nice one mate. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
Some nice details there. Those trousers look fun to paint.

Starting a Pegaso model soon. I've painted a few 75mm but this will be my first Pegaso.

Will be good to follow Rocco, sounds daft but the size of the figure is a little daunting.

It’s a great kit, I have it in the gray army and my friend Ian converted one giving it a tropical service hat. Looking forward to seeing what you do with him. Going up a scale is good sometimes and it’s better on the eyes too.

I'm finding a lot of space to fill that I'm not used to having so hopefully will have better transitions.

Great flesh tone on the face, it's a great looking kit. I prefer 75s, they are good for my eyes.

Cheers Bob, tried to go for a more weather beaten complexion as my usual tone is rather pale and uninteresting. I have the other problem with my eyes, close up is great, it's distance where I struggle, though that distance is getting closer!

Know that problem.

Good start on the Zouave.
I agree that 75mm is a good scale. I too am struggling with the 54's I used to paint and am pretty much set on finishing the few I have left and moving up to the larger scale.

I have a few larger scale figures in stock and I'm sure I will paint them, for me though 54mm is plenty bid enough considering my own makes are even smaller at 1/35th.
