Hi guys . This is my latest work . The "Pegacantaurs"

A project i had in mind for a long time , and also took me a long time to make

Inspired from Fantasy comics and movies i used two half bodies of Pegaso figures (75mm Connan - Cimmerian) and (80 mm Sheena)

    I also used a 75mm horse from aan I& E Cossack figure , and a modified Seil Horse .

Wings come from Pegaso's "Lilith" kit and also "Angie" The rest are scratched and adjusted by me .

Figures are painted with Acrylics and oils, and printers inks are used also

Base is a scratch design, with additional natural plants preserved

I hope yuou like it .

I will lay many pictures for you , as well as pre painting stage pictures , so please be patient

    All comments welcome

Another fantastic vignette from your hands. Excellent sculpting and paintwork, with great groundwork.

I was wondering how many hours does it take for you to create something like this? (I have the impression that I'm very slow :) )

    Regards,
    Marcel.

Dave hi , and thanks for the comments . The flesh is painted with a new technique i use . I paint the figure at about 90% of that i was to paint it in acrylics . Then i over paint it with very thin films of oil to get the satin effect and nice degration of the oils . I am glad you liked it . Half of my work goes to collectors , and the rest is kept in my closet , which by the way is full, and need to get another one !!! Soon

Marcel , hi and thanks for posting . This project took me about 120 - 130 hours from start to last brushstroke . But since i accomplished a picture that i had in my mind for so long, it doesnt matter !!!

Great concept, transformation and painting, everything fit very well, the only detail that I don't like too much are the skulls, I guess are very hard to sculpt....great work anyway

Great work Costas! I would like to make a centaur too. John Howe has a great drawnings about full armored centaurs.
Your idea is also nice! Congratulations!
