Oh wow! I am very fond of this pair! Well I have to be.

My only comment would be about the width of the shoulders. It could be the angles of these pictures. It could be that I am too accustomed to those hunks from other artists. Of course if the shoulders are meant to be this size to make a point such as lack of food supply then I can't complain. As with so many things it is a personal preference.

The design is brilliant as always. Way to go, Andrew!

Excellent idea Andy, I like the dual height aspect of this one, just an idea but maybe an oversize helmet for the youth will portray his youth more.

You never cease to amaze me with you ideas for busts mate, dont you ever sleep:)

Great composition. There are a lot of possibilities here. I've seen busts/ half figure paired up with a horse's head that worked just as well together. ~Gary

Brilliant...way to push the envelope here. Great design elements...the anatomy looks great to me, especially for a boy and an old guy.
    Very clever.

VERY NICE sculpt, Andy (y)(y)(y) !!!! I'm sure it'll be another successful commercial piece when it's released :D. Who knows, I may be tempted to get one to paint up myself when it goes on sale ;) ! Cheers !
