Today I see, or paint, "black" again.

The "segment" under the (on the photos!) left Kapsitulnij was in the row.

With lights I was more reserved one more piece than further on top, but they are there!

With the bright-dark course of the "black" of the shoulder about the cartridge loops up to the belly I am quite contented.

And mostly pleases me: The "black" gap turns out more and more ideal detail "bearer"!

I am really glad that I have decided at that time on the colour pattern of the classical uniform!

At first to the present day the suitable picture …:

And today then there is a „small end“ …:

The last "black section" of the Tscherkesska was just painted. Also here I go forward with the lights only again very subtly, but they are there!

The overall impression which the "black" Tscherkesska of our Cossack makes now, I like very well!

Two small, but for me very important corrections.

Two of the Kapsitulnij (cartridge loops) were a little bit squalidly painted …:

One sees this though only under very "hard" light directly from above, but, nevertheless, it has disturbed me!

The places were decolorized – again with alcohol and paintbrush – carefully and anew painted …:

So – and with it I say goodbye not only in the week-end, but for the whole next week.

Here an important family party stands in a queue, there richly comes visit and my painting room is used as a substitute bedroom. So I must clear everything and do not come to the time.

Here on the 19th of March it goes on!

Hello, to You to all - nice that you are here again!

My silver wedding celebration is over, a pity that the guests are away again.

But now I can paint again!

Today I have finished the saber strap.

As well as already before these colours came for the application …:

The small "tongue" completely below in the belt …

… I have painted deliberately deep black.

We will still see, why …

And the front part of my Cossack's bust is ready with it up to still to be mounted (and to be painted) small parts!

On the back carried – and carry – Circassian Cossacks a so-called "Bashlyk" …:

As already once shown, it was carried by a cord around the neck …:

A Bashlyk was nothing else than a hood scarf.:

With cold the upper end was put and the scarf ends were knotted around the neck (or buttoned).

Bashlyks it gave in all possible colours.

Special of the Bashlyk: The hood was big enough that the voluminous Kubanka-fur cap could worn under it…:

With the classical uniform of the Terek Cossacks was (and is!) of the Bashlyk of course blue …:

With the Kuban-Cossacks it is red …:

However, before I can begin with the painting, I must correct first of all my own foolishness!

Andy has copied the striking seams in the hood like all the other details – after photos - wonderfully precisely, with the Promo painting of Eong song Lee it comes wonderfully out.:

Only I idiot had sharpened by the cleaning of the bust in my initial euphoria a lot too much of it away …:

So the gods have placed before painting the new sculpting of these seams.

I have made this today with Milliput "Superfine White" …:

Moreover, there is to report still that the base is ready for the Cossack's bust …:

An friend of mine has built again a wonderful piece for me „on the measure“ on which the little one will certainly feel good …:

Today I have moved my painting hour to the early morning, because I must finish today, unfortunately, a lot before other things.

Just I have primed all new made up places with the paintbrush …

… and after the dry with …

… undercoated, so that the final red later will look a little bit "fuller".

This "Carmine Red" really shines very strong!

And on the photos I see level that I must change two of the seams made yesterday once more – there I have made an error in reasoning that does not fit thus! The hood is unterhit at the head!

    Tomorrow …!

Two seams were corrected, or were made new!

After two-hour drying time they were postundercoated with the paintbrush. Now the Milliput can harden!

Moreover, I have with these colours …

… the left side of the Bashlyk ready painted.
