First of all I would like to thank you and my friends from Lilliput for all your support , comments and encoragement.

Our poor Mule, now stands by the via appia leading him towards Rome and his family and friends.
He pauses for a moment’s rest and sighs, while dreaming of his wife ,poor little children and the piece of land promised him by Marius.

Outstanding work Roc............you have done an exceptional job with your Mule. The skin tones I especially like and you did a great job on the groundwork

That's just great roc. It all looks so good together. The mail, the tunic and the ground work are all excellent.

Interesting choice of background, though

Roc. I have no comments. I love it: The figure speaks by itself.

As you know I have been following your steps and you know my comments.

    Hasta luego Roc

Very nice Roc. I really like your work on the mail and (I don't know why, it just pops out) the wicker basket. Ever get your replacement part? Roger

Hey Keith, thanks man, for all your encouragement and support,it was a big help.

What you see is in the back ground is my grape vine and my fig tree, coincidentally
both were enjoyed by the Romans and our Mule.

    Cheers,

    Roc. :)

    Hey Roc,

A job well done. What more can I say that others have not.

I have a comment regarding the background. Any chance that you can have a plain background for some of your future figures? The reason being that it tends to distract at times. I feel that having a plain background help focus on the figure itself.

keep up the good work. Looking forward to more of your stuffs.

    regards :)

Roc, Nice job on Marius. I painted him years ago at the tender age of 16 for a local Doctor. I enjoyed doing all of the equipments he's carrying and all these detaills made it a neat kit. Keep up the fine work.~Gary

Hey Wong, thanks , I really appreciate your input and your encouragement.

I'm thinking of trying a medium blue background for my next pictures, What do you think?

    Hey Roc,

I almost missed it! My hat is off to you. You have outdone yourself on this little gem. Both figure and groundwork are your best to date!

    Dear Roc,

Blue should be nice. As for myself, I always use a blue hard cover book as my back drop. I also make it a point to take all my photographs under daylight as some spectrum of the light are missing with artificial lighting.

    regards :)

hey Wong, thanks again, I did find a book with a blue cover in my library and I will be experimenting with it.

    Keep the great work ,

    Cheers
