Finally after many interruptions, I managed to finish this truly vintage figure.
It still needs extreme highlights, extreme shadows and a few touch ups here and there.

You have done a very very nice job with this figure with horse. I am very interested in the Napoleonic period and see alot of figures and vignettes and diorama's of this period. I must say this will be a example for me.
Again its very beautiful painted. I hope to see more from you here on planet figure.

The metals are well done. Your yellows are effective (much nicer than mine )

Also, I like how the figures are placed. The horse and rider appear to be turning to look to the right. Gives a feeling of anticipation. Nicely thought out!

Thanks Colin , you are absolutely right, they did make some nice figures years
ago and you didn't have to mortgage your house to buy a 90mm mounted figure.

I think the old Poste militaire figures are as good or better than many kits manufactured today.
