There are some belts or straps on the horse's head that still need to be linked up, but otherwise this 1/16th scale Ottoman Turk Lancer ca. 1916, Sergeant of the 1st Lancer Regiment is complete.

    The figure is separate.

The lance is separate and comes in two parts; that's why it is sagging visibly on both sides of the hand. Once the lance is glued down in the hand it should be stiff enough and look better. Since I could find no example of a Turkish lance ca. 1916, I made a metal German design.

Historically, a lot of the equipment and weapons used by the Turks were either furnished by their German ally or made in Turkey under license.
