WIP Ottoman Sipahi.

    Here's something I'm more comfortable painting than great big resin busts. :playful:
    A 30mm flat of an Ottoman Sipahi c.1500-1690. The horse is still in progress so a bit rough looking. :wacky:

    Thanks for commenting Daniel. One of the beauties of flats there is such a varied and diverse choice of subjects. I often look at some of them and think I wonder why nobody in the "round" fig world hasn't done this.

    I totally agree with Dan the on the horse very nice. Now if you want to scale up I've a 120mm nag waiting to be done.

    Looks really nice Rog nice one always been a puzzle why there aren't more Otterman and similar era/empire figures around some amazing colours to be seen there for sure

    I've got scores of these inc. Hungarians, Stradiots, Croats but finding references is another matter. Fortunately I don't think there was any set pattern but.... :meh:
