You are pushing me now lol, did you ever do this one Roger? I remember buying it and when it arrived I remember thinking 'oh my God, what am I supposed to do with that?' Never even got to primer :). Cannot remember where it was from but I have not found a picture of it painted to see what it should look like, I believe there was one when I got it but cannot remember where that was

That's great Roger, thanks for the picture. I was wondering if it was white or blue trousers but I didn't realise they would be red jackets! Huge help :)

Some interesting pieces started... Lots of wild colours on the 17th cen get-ups.
Is the Jan Sobieski piece the Polish "hero" :)sick:) character from "With Fire and Sword"? I read the cossack Bohan as the hero but things didn't go well for him

I'll be following the progress of these ones with interest.

Ahhh, I just finished that book this winter.
Good story but it really didn't shine a beautiful light on the Zaporozhian Cossacks ;) My Old Man refered to it as Polish Propoganda
If nothing else the book flooded my head with vignette and diorama ideas... more than I could ever do in my lifetime

I actually took the book with me to sea last trip and couldn't really get into and gave up about five chapters in. Maybe I should have stuck it out a bit longer.
